A Typical Day at Hugs and Giggles
Each day at Hugs and Giggles provides a thoughtful balance of routine, discovery, and meaningful experiences in a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment.
Morning
Our day begins with a warm welcome and breakfast, helping children settle in feeling safe and happy. We come together for circle time with songs and group discussions to build communication, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Children then take part in focused learning activities, enjoy healthy snacks, and benefit from daily outdoor play.
We are proud to offer a beautiful garden and patio area where children can explore, develop their physical skills, and enjoy fresh air every day.
Midday
After preparing for lunch, children enjoy a nutritious meal in a relaxed and social setting, followed by a rest or relaxation period in a calm and comfortable environment.
Afternoon
The afternoon offers a gentle balance of structure and child-led exploration. After a healthy snack, children engage in creative activities, small group experiences, and independent play based on their interests. Outdoor learning continues where possible, and the day gradually winds down with tea, story time, and calm free play before home time.
Goodbye
Nursery closes at 6 p.m.
