Our history
Hugs and Giggles Nursery, Harrow is a nursery set in the wonderful grounds of Headstone Manor, a Grade I listed 14th century Manor House which is home to Harrow Museum and Heritage Centre. We are surrounded by nature in this idyllic setting.
Established over a decade ago by a passionate Educationalist from University College of London’s Institute of Education. We draw upon many approaches in Early Years Educational Research such as: Piaget, Vygotsky, Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia.
The location of the nursery is a tremendous asset and offers Harrow’s parents a best in class environment for your child’s care and development. Centrally located to major transport links to London, with Headstone Overground, and North Harrow tube being in nearby proximity. The Nursery is conveniently located near to Pinner, Hatch End and Harrow. Also on our doorstep is one of Harrow’s excellent Primary schools (Pinner Park Infant and Junior Schools).
Remodelled & refurbished to a very high standard, the nursery building provides a fresh, bright and welcoming environment with safe and secure outside play areas for all children. There is dedicated parking right beside the nursery offering parents an ease in dropping off and collecting their precious little ones.

Our Team
Established over a decade ago by a passionate Educationalist with a bespoke first-degree specialism in Exceptionality in Human Learning and a Postgraduate from the University College of London’s world class Institute of Education. We draw upon many approaches in Early Years Educational Research such as: Piaget, Vygotsky, Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia.
Our early childhood educators are fully qualified, very experienced and extremely dedicated to their roles – many have been with us for years!
We truly value continuity of care and know how important consistency is in a young child’s life – which is why we our team is only made of all permanent part-time and full-time educators. We employee regular permanent float educators which enables us to refrain from using “casual” or “agency” educators. This means that your child will always know and be familiar with every educator in the service!
Our community
Our families come from nearby neighbourhoods, creating a close-knit environment and strong parent partnerships. Whether we’re close to home or near the office, our centre is ideal for busy working families and easy to get to – for pick-up and drop-off or to stop in for a visit.
We use an online platform to build a strong Parent and Nursery link, to ensure your child makes the best start to their education’s journey.
